MY FIRST PROMOTIONAL DISPLAY

My first display of my novels at a local Church of Christ will be for sale at morning tea after their church service.   They are there just for people to browse through after the service, and if they are interested, they can approach the person who is in charge of the table.

WHY I WRITE

 

 

I write to express things I am trying to say. I write to honour God by what I am learning. I write to share the gospel of Christ, and for others to be blessed by the things I write and to allow The Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of those people. Now God has given me the internet, FB and many free websites to share and promote my books and I give glory to Him only. Without access to self-publishing, free software, buy sell swap groups, gumtree,

ebay, 

I would not be able to do anything without an agent, publisher, marketing manager, etc , because i have found in my experience that some publishers make mega mistakes when they reject someone's work, eg publisher who rejected Harry Potter must be kicking himself; the record producer who rejected the beatles first song must be having a fit.

 Some publishers make mistakes, but with the internet, we are responsible for our OWN marketing, where we are responsible for all the hard yakka (work) that gives us the passion to tell people how awesome our books are, towards our own promotional mediums, with the TOOLS that help us in the areas that suit OUR books and our market. I just wanted to get that off my chest. I'm into blogs now, so im testing my focus.
